Client Galleries / Image Delivery:
Joe Richardson creates a client gallery for each client from which photos are delivered as part of the contracted services.
These galleries are externally hosted by Pic-Time. Their privacy policy can be found on their website.
To visit a client gallery, you will be required to enter personal data (your email address) and an access code.
Your personal data (email address) will be stored within Pic-Time’s system, used only to email you relevant gallery information (e.g., discounts).
Any emails sent to you will only occur while the gallery is live. Afterward, it will be archived for cloud storage along with your personal data.
Only Joe Richardson will have access to the data stored on Pic-Time’s system and it will not be used or passed to third parties.
Pic-Time’s technical support may access the data if requested by Joe Richardson.
If you wish to request deletion of your data from Pic-Time’s servers, email info@joerichardson.co.uk.

Joe Richardson uses a client management system provided by Studio Ninja to store this data, collected via the contact form.
This data is used solely to respond to enquiries and provide wedding photography services. It is accessed on two heavily password-protected devices.
If you book Joe Richardson's photography services, these details are held in soft and sometimes hard copy contracts, as well as day plans.
Digital versions are stored on a password-protected MacBook and backed up to encrypted external hard drives.
Images are also stored on two backed-up external hard drives and a cloud copy is held via Pic-Time.
Guests Captured in Photos:
Under GDPR, photographs may sometimes constitute personal data.
Joe Richardson will never photograph anyone for identification or authentication unless contractually agreed upon.
Guests are photographed as part of the event documentation, and their rights are protected under this privacy policy.
Photography is conducted on the basis of legitimate interests under GDPR, unless specific objections are raised.
Wedding clients are encouraged to direct their guests to this privacy policy and advise them to get in touch with any concerns in advance.
Withdrawal of Consent:
Anyone photographed by Joe Richardson (clients or guests, past or present) may withdraw consent for their image to be displayed.
To do so, email info@joerichardson.co.uk with the relevant image details.
The photo(s) will be removed from online and print display within 30 days of the request.
Social Media Policy & Image Use:
We operate responsibly on social media.
We may have official profiles on various platforms; users should verify the authenticity of profiles before sharing information.
Joe will only request email addresses via DM or Messenger to continue client conversations.
Display of Images:
We may display photographs to promote Joe Richardson Photography on our website, blog, social media, wedding blogs, advertising, or publications.
This will only happen lawfully and respectfully, with client rights protected as outlined in this privacy policy.
