My grandmother gave me my first camera when I was little and that was pretty much that. It led me through film school, a few years shooting fashion, and eventually to wedding photography - which, honestly, I wish I'd found sooner.
The couples I photograph tend to be easy company. They care about fashion, travel, the details that make something feel considered. But more than anything they want the day to feel like theirs - relaxed and personal rather than something they had to perform.
Getting married changed how I see. I understand what it is to want a moment caught exactly as it was. I shoot our life the same way - the quiet Sundays, the cat doing nothing, the ordinary stuff that turns out to be everything. Staying attentive to the small things at home is what keeps me honest at work. I take on a limited amount of weddings each year so I can be fully present at your wedding.
When you look back at your gallery, I don't want you to remember me being there. I don't believe a wedding day should be shaped around photography. The photographs should be shaped around the day. I want you to remember the people you had there, the feeling in the room and the moments you didn't realise were important until they became memories.
